Principal Program Manager — Hyperscaler Cloud Data Center (Full Lifecycle Program Ownership)
Role Summary
Lead end-to-end execution of customer-driven, custom semiconductor solutions for hyperscale cloud data center customers within Marvell’s Cloud Data Center Group. This role owns program lifecycle activities from initiation through production release and coordinates cross-functional engineering, operations, and business teams.
This is a high-impact, customer-facing program management role focused on delivering complex, validated, and qualified semiconductor products to hyperscaler partners on schedule, on quality, and within cost targets.
Experience Level
Senior — requires multi-year senior program management experience in the semiconductor industry (see Education Requirements for degree/years guidance).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include full-lifecycle program ownership and cross-functional coordination to deliver custom solutions to hyperscaler cloud data center customers.
- Lead custom solution programs for hyperscale cloud data center customers.
- Own complete program lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
- Drive execution across development, validation, qualification, sample delivery, and production release phases.
- Monitor and control program performance versus the Plan of Record (schedule, quality, cost).
- Collaborate across a matrixed organization with engineering, operations, and business teams.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders at engineering, management, and executive levels.
- Proactively identify program risks and lead mitigation planning.
- Escalate and resolve issues to maintain program momentum.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience for success in this role.
- Minimum of 5 years in a program management role within the semiconductor industry.
- Proven leadership, time-management, and organizational capabilities managing complex technical programs.
- Strong customer-facing skills with ability to build trust, manage expectations, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Advanced skills in risk identification, analysis, and technical problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions that align internal strategy with customer requirements.
- Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams in a matrixed environment.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant professional experience; or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
