Role Summary
The Principal Program Management Engineer leads cross-functional teams to plan and execute new product introductions, ensuring schedule, cost, quality, and forecasted return on investment. The role coordinates design, manufacturing (wafer fabrication, assembly and test), validation, firmware/software, product/test engineering, and field/quality functions to deliver products to market.
Based in Bengaluru, the role provides program leadership, status reporting to senior management, and customer interaction on milestones and deliveries.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include leading program execution from assessment through market release and ensuring successful product qualification and ramp.
- Lead cross-functional teams to release new products and achieve forecasted ROI.
- Plan and manage project schedules, budgets, and milestones (using MS Project).
- Coordinate with wafer fabrication, assembly and test sites to meet schedule, cost and quality targets.
- Define and implement qualification and reliability plans; perform characterization and validation testing.
- Work with failure analysis to determine root cause of reliability or qualification issues.
- Provide regular status updates to senior management and communicate project issues and mitigation plans.
- Interact with customers on project status, sample deliveries, and schedule alignment.
- Coordinate material logistics, shipment/assembly/test prioritization, and production ramp activities.
- Maintain project records and systems (e.g., Galileo) per new product development guidelines.

Education Requirements
Preferred degrees: Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
