Principal Product Manager - RTL-to-GDS Digital Implementation
Role Summary
Owner of the product strategy and execution for Siemens EDA products in the RTL-to-GDS digital implementation domain. Operate as the primary product owner across product planning, roadmap, customer engagement, and go-to-market activities.
Work closely with R&D, product engineering, field, and sales to drive product adoption, revenue, and competitive differentiation for target market segments.
Experience Level
Senior - expects 7+ years of experience in EDA or semiconductor engineering roles, preferably with customer-facing exposure and product management experience.
Responsibilities
Deliver product leadership across strategy, development, and go-to-market for RTL-to-GDS implementation products.
- Define and validate target market and user requirements through customer and partner engagement.
- Own product roadmap, prioritize features, and align development to market needs and time-to-market goals.
- Drive product launches and market proliferation campaigns to grow revenue and adoption.
- Collaborate with sales and field teams to enable successful customer engagements and provide training/support.
- Develop product messaging, positioning, and customer-facing collateral.
- Measure product success using revenue, adoption, and other commercial KPIs.
Requirements
Key qualifications and skills required or strongly preferred.
- Must-have: 7+ years in EDA or semiconductor engineering roles, ideally with customer-facing experience.
- Must-have: Experience in product management or technical management: segment identification, requirements prioritization, roadmap definition, and development coordination.
- Must-have: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders.
- Must-have: Business acumen and ability to connect product work to revenue and financial objectives.
- Preferred / Nice-to-have: Direct experience in RTL-to-GDS digital implementation tools and flows.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in an engineering field is required. An advanced degree or MBA is a strong plus.
