Principal Product Manager, ICV LVS Established Nodes Product Strategies

Role Summary

Lead product strategy for Synopsys ICV LVS (Layout vs Schematic) targeted at established process nodes and their interaction with advanced nodes in 3D and chiplet systems. Work across product management, R&D, and sales to define requirements, drive adoption, and build partnerships that position ICV LVS as the solution for connectivity and reliability across multi-node designs.

Senior β€” requires 15+ years of relevant EDA/semiconductor product management and marketing experience.

Responsibilities

Accountabilities and regular activities for this role include:

  • Define and execute strategy for ICV LVS in established process nodes and their integration with advanced nodes.
  • Serve as the established-node ICV LVS product visionary and influence roadmap decisions across product management and R&D.
  • Align product development and go-to-market plans with sales, senior product management, and R&D teams.
  • Train and support technical sales to develop customer benchmarks and drive new business.
  • Advise R&D on interpreting LVS elements of Foundry Design Rule Manuals and translating them into efficient ICV design kits.
  • Lead collaborative initiatives and partnerships that produce differentiated LVS solutions for multi-node and 3D/chiplet designs.

Requirements

Must-have skills and qualifications (concise):

  • Extensive experience (15+ years) in EDA or semiconductor product management/marketing with a track record of delivering product strategy and go-to-market results.
  • Deep expertise interpreting and negotiating Foundry LVS Design Rule Manuals and converting intent into implementable checks or design kits.
  • Proven ability to work with senior management and to build or scale a product management team supporting global sales, product, and customers.
  • Established industry relationships within LVS organizations at leading semiconductor companies and ability to represent Synopsys externally.
  • Strong influencing skills across product management, R&D, and sales; able to drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to represent technical strategy to customers and partners.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results under time pressure.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to engage with customers and technical sales.

Education Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering and/or Device Physics is required. An MS in a related field is desired.
