Role Summary

Lead definition, early deployment, and customer adoption of Cadence Virtuoso heterogeneous integration technologies for 3D IC, advanced packaging, and system co-design. Work cross-functionally with Product Management, R&D, Validation, and Application Engineering and partner with strategic customers to translate system-level challenges into product capabilities.

Senior - 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent demonstrated expertise.

Responsibilities

Deliver product-quality implementations and drive customer adoption across the product lifecycle.

• Define, validate, and promote end-to-end system implementation flows for 3D IC, heterogeneous integration, and advanced packaging.
• Engage with strategic customers to capture complex co-design requirements and convert them into product specifications.
• Produce Product Requirement Specifications (PRS), technical use cases, and validation criteria.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Field teams, Technical Publications, and Product Validation to deliver customer-ready capabilities.
• Create demos, application workflows, and enablement materials to accelerate adoption.
• Troubleshoot design-flow issues, provide technical workarounds, and drive bug/enhancement prioritization.
• Support product launches, customer engagements, and industry events.
• Own deliverables from definition through customer deployment with accountability for execution.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and core skills.

• 10+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor design, physical implementation, advanced packaging, or EDA product engineering, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of the Cadence Virtuoso platform and custom IC design flows.
• Proven ability to define product requirements and support product development and validation.
• Experience troubleshooting design flows and driving technical resolutions and prioritization.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and own technical deliverables.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.

Preferred skills.

• Experience with software product definition, validation, or technical marketing.
• Experience with co-design flows for silicon-package-board integration, 3D IC, or heterogeneous integration.
• Familiarity with Cadence Allegro Package Designer Plus (APD+) and package implementation methodologies.
• Knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso SKILL or other interpreted scripting languages.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field is listed; equivalent practical or demonstrated experience is accepted. No specific advanced degree or certification is required in the posting.
