Role Summary
This role seeks an experienced professional to lead a cross-functional team developing and releasing new GaN/GaAs technology, products, and processes. The position requires collaboration with various departments and customers to produce reliable RF Compound Semiconductor ICs that fulfill specific technology needs.
Experience Level
Professional level, requiring 5+ years of relevant experience in process development/integration or yield enhancement within the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Leading a cross-functional team to develop new GaN/GaAs technology, products, and processes for production.
- Collaborating with business units, designers, and fabrication teams to deliver reliable RF Compound Semiconductor ICs.
- Developing process flows and design elements to meet performance specifications.
- Designing corner experiments to identify manufacturability issues and sensitivities.
- Designing and monitoring in-line, DC, and RF probe test functions and structures.
- Collecting and analyzing characterization data to ensure new technology meets specifications.
- Identifying and resolving yield and performance issues through root cause analysis and implementing improvements.
- Defining the design rules for new technology and processes.
Requirements
The position has the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Physics.
- 5+ years of experience in process development/integration or yield enhancement in the semiconductor sector.
- Expertise in developing process flows to achieve required circuit performance.
- Ability to design experiments to identify manufacturability issues.
- Experience with in-line, DC, and RF probe testing.
- Skills in analyzing yield and performance factors and implementing improvements.
- Knowledge in defining design rules to support new products.
Education Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Physics. Higher degrees (Master's or PhD) are preferred.
