Role Summary
Micron DRAM Technology Development team role focused on ensuring product readiness for next-generation DRAM nodes. The engineer translates silicon behavior into actionable product decisions and works across process integration, device, test, design, and manufacturing teams to enable scalable manufacturing.
Principal-level technical contributor responsible for identifying node-specific risks and driving process-aware product optimization.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include product readiness, data analysis, and cross-functional technical leadership.
- Drive process-aware product optimization and identify integration risks.
- Analyze silicon data (electrical, parametric, yield, reliability) to identify systematic limiters.
- Partner with design, process integration, test, and device teams to debug yield and performance issues and determine root cause.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and technology development to enable node readiness and factory ramp.
- Translate process changes into product impact assessments (PPA, yield, reliability, test coverage).
- Guide test content and monitoring strategies to detect process-driven failure mechanisms early.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship; communicate complex cross-functional issues to stakeholders.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- Extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing or technology development, with direct DRAM exposure.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor process integration and device physics.
- Ability to analyze large silicon datasets; hands-on experience with lab tools, testers, and data analysis.
- Proven experience driving multi-functional problem solving across process, product, and manufacturing teams.
Preferred / nice-to-have:
- Deep experience with DRAM process technology, module interactions, and scaling challenges.
- Background in node development, process integration, yield engineering, or TD product engineering.
- Knowledge of failure mechanisms related to implants, films, lithography, etch, or thermal processes.
- Experience supporting technology bring-up, qualification, or high-volume manufacturing ramp.
- Proficiency in Python or other data-analysis/scripting tools.
- Strong communication, technical writing, and leadership skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is required.
