Role Summary
Lead development of system-level network simulation models and tools to evaluate NICs, switches, and future system architectures. Work with architecture, ASIC, and software teams to quantify performance, scalability, and fault-tolerance trade-offs.

Responsibilities
Own design and execution of network simulation studies and related tooling.
- Develop simulation models for NICs, switches, and system architectures.
- Design and implement realistic simulation motifs and workloads to drive analysis.
- Create tools for performance analysis, visualization, and reporting.
- Evaluate performance, scalability, and fault tolerance of proposed architectures.
- Collaborate with network architects, ASIC designers, and software engineers to inform trade-offs.
- Apply software engineering best practices to ensure reproducible, maintainable simulation code.
