Principal/Lead Design Engineer (DCDC)

Role Summary

The Principal Design Engineer will drive innovation and development in analog and mixed-signal ICs, focusing on power management integrated circuits (PMICs). The role includes defining architectures, optimizing power devices, enhancing efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

Senior level, requiring 12+ years of direct analog/mixed-signal circuit design experience.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

• Lead key IP development, from definition to execution to product release.
• Collaborate with system/application/marketing on product definition and contribute to concept and roadmap development.
• Create schedules and resource plans, track and monitor project progress.
• Evaluate intermediate results, resolve issues, and implement solutions.
• Partner with application/product/test engineering for successful production transfer.
• Mentor junior analog design engineers.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Solid track record of releasing complex IPs to products.
• Extensive knowledge of IC design processes and methodologies.
• Sound understanding of various power converters and relevant components.
• Strong analog design skills with the ability to debug complex chip problems.
• Familiarity with advanced high voltage BCD technology and its implications on performance.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in cutting-edge design and verification tools.
• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Education Requirements

A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
