Principal Integration Engineer

Role Summary

Lead and manage process integration activities for 300mm semiconductor technologies at Fab 8, owning integration from development and customer engagement through production release. The role focuses on delivering and sustaining advanced process technologies with attention to quality, cost, and delivery.

Experience Level

Senior-level. The posting specifies a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and expects demonstrated leadership in developing and delivering technology to mass production.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead process integration efforts for baseline improvements and continuous improvement plans (CIPs) in 45RF and 45RFe technologies.
• Manage New Product Introductions (NPIs) with rigorous execution and respond to customer feedback to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with process module owners, yield engineering, program management, customer engineering, packaging, and reliability to implement process solutions.
• Perform project management tasks: schedule, scope, and cost trade-offs; and conduct data analysis to support decisions.
• Identify and resolve process integration and yield-related issues.
• Develop custom or derivative processes and support new designs via module characterization and design-rule development.
• Design and improve test structures for fast, rigorous process characterization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet organizational goals.
• Perform all work in compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
• Support other projects and cross-functional assignments as needed.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and skills:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant semiconductor/process integration experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and delivering process technology to production.
• Strong project management skills, including schedule, scope, and cost management.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving process and yield issues; solid data-analysis skills.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teams and customer interactions.
• Experience with NPI execution and customer-facing debugging.
• Ability to develop test structures and support module characterization and design-rule work.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with FEOL/BEOL processes, FinFET or FDSOI technologies.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills; self-starter and results-oriented.

Education Requirements

Minimum: BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or another relevant engineering/physical-science discipline. Preferred: PhD in one of these fields with 2+ years of working experience. (Source specifies degrees and fields explicitly.)
