Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Define firmware architecture and system design for embedded products.
- Develop, review, and maintain firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers and SoCs.
- Integrate and validate firmware with hardware, drivers, and middleware.
- Lead debugging, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis using hardware debuggers and logic analyzers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, applications, QA) to deliver product releases.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers; conduct code reviews and establish best practices.
- Drive firmware release processes, documentation, and compliance activities as needed.
Requirements
Must-have and nice-to-have qualifications:

Must-have: Proven embedded firmware development experience in embedded C/C++; experience with RTOS and device drivers; debugging with JTAG/ICE; version control (Git); familiarity with common embedded interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, USB).

Must-have: Experience designing firmware architecture and delivering production-quality releases.

Nice-to-have: Scripting (Python), hardware bring-up experience, secure boot/cryptography experience, and experience with continuous integration for embedded systems.
