Role Summary
Validate and ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of Parasitic Extraction (PEX) solutions delivered as part of Process Design Kits (PDKs) for GlobalFoundries RF technologies. Work with EDA vendors, cross-functional engineering teams, and customers to produce robust, production-ready PEX flows and tooling.
Focus areas include developing and executing QA methodologies, verifying PEX model accuracy and flow integrity, driving automation for validation, and resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities
The role requires ownership of PEX QA activities across PDK deliverables and collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Validate and qualify Parasitic Extraction (PEX) solutions within PDKs for GF RF technologies.
- Develop, execute, and maintain PEX QA methodologies, test plans, and validation suites.
- Collaborate with EDA tool vendors to verify flows, resolve technical issues, and drive improvements.
- Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues related to PEX PDK components.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams to meet customer and business requirements.
- Develop and support automation to improve PEX validation and QA productivity.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of PEX methodologies, flows, and quality standards.
Requirements

- Must-have: Fundamental knowledge of the semiconductor field; effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Preferred / Nice-to-have: Experience in the semiconductor industry or EDA; experience with Physical Verification, LVS, and/or Parasitic Extraction (PEX) flows; experience supporting customers or debugging PDK components.
Education Requirements
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
