Lead technical work on process integration and yield improvement for advanced semiconductor manufacturing. This role works with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of yield loss, develop and qualify process solutions, and drive continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on identifying and resolving integration and yield issues, developing and qualifying processes, and enabling rapid characterization and improvement of product yield.

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve process integration and yield issues.
• Perform project management and data analysis to support yield improvement projects.
• Develop custom or derivative processes to meet customer and product requirements.
• Support new designs via module characterization and development of design rules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce defect activity and address technical and yield concerns.
• Design and improve test structures to enable fast, rigorous process characterization.
• Drive continuous improvement plans (CIP) to meet organizational goals.
• Build and maintain a defect-source library and implement defect-source fingerprinting methods.
• Perform product/process partitioning studies for yield and defect characterization.
• Ensure process documentation, failure-mode assessment, and mitigation/detection strategies are in place.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
