Principal Engineer, Integration & Yield
Role Summary
Lead development, optimization, and integration of semiconductor processes to improve yield, product performance, and manufacturability at GF Fab 7 in Singapore. Serve as a technical expert resolving complex integration and yield issues and influence cross-functional teams to deliver strategic process improvements.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include driving yield improvement, process characterization, and cross-functional technical leadership.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve process integration and yield-related issues; implement continuous improvements.
- Manage end-to-end projects and perform advanced data analysis to support integration and yield objectives.
- Develop custom and derivative process solutions and establish design rules for new products.
- Support new product development with module characterization and test-structure design.
- Build and maintain defect source libraries; lead tool defect fingerprinting and defect trend analysis.
- Perform product and process partitioning studies for targeted yield and defect improvements.
- Document failure modes, risk mitigation, detection strategies, and ensure EHS&S compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on strategic initiatives and the technology roadmap.

- Extensive experience in semiconductor process integration, yield engineering, or related areas (senior-level experience).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills for complex technical challenges.
- Experience with statistical analysis, DOE methodologies, SPC monitoring, and data-driven problem solving.
- Proven ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, including mentoring and team guidance.
- Knowledge of defectivity reduction, failure analysis, process characterization, and test-structure development.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement Plans (CIP) and quality/yield improvement processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive results.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
