Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Define architecture and implement RTL for complex digital blocks and IP.
  • Drive synthesis, timing closure, and power optimization in collaboration with physical design teams.
  • Mentor and review work of other engineers; provide technical leadership across projects.
  • Work with verification and validation teams to ensure coverage and product quality.
  • Debug silicon- or simulation-level issues and support bring-up activities.
  • Contribute to project planning, requirements definition, and cross-functional communication.

Requirements

  • Must-have: Strong RTL design experience with SystemVerilog/Verilog (VHDL experience acceptable where noted).

  • Ability to lead technical design reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with low-power design techniques and physical design constraints.
  • Familiarity with system-level integration, mixed-signal interfaces, or IP development for SoC environments.
  • Experience with specific EDA toolchains (Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor) and FPGA vendor flows.
