Role Summary
As a Principal Design Verification Engineer at Analog Devices you will lead verification strategy and architecture for complex analog and mixed-signal designs, mentor verification teams, and influence verification methodology across projects and product lines.
The role focuses on technical leadership, cross-organizational collaboration, and representing ADI with customers, partners, and industry forums.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 10+ years of relevant verification experience with complex digital and mixed-signal designs.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include defining verification strategy, driving methodology adoption, and resolving complex verification challenges.
- Define verification strategy and architecture for complex digital and mixed-signal designs.
- Develop and pioneer advanced verification methodologies and frameworks to improve verification effectiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with design teams, product managers, and executives on verification requirements and sign-off criteria.
- Lead resolution of the most challenging verification issues across multiple design abstractions.
- Mentor and develop verification engineers; establish best practices and verification methodologies.
- Establish verification metrics and quality standards across product lines.
- Engage with customers, partners, tool vendors, and industry forums to represent ADI and influence verification technologies.
- Travel as required (approximately 10%).

- Expert-level SystemVerilog and UVM knowledge for architecting advanced verification environments.
- Proven ability to develop comprehensive coverage-driven verification strategies and drive verification closure.
- Deep mixed-signal verification expertise and familiarity with verification approaches for analog/mixed-signal designs.
- Advanced debugging skills across multiple design abstractions.
- Track record of verification methodology innovation and implementation.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to influence organization-wide verification direction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for high-impact verification challenges.
Education Requirements
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
