Principal Design Engineer
Role Summary
Lead design and delivery of next-generation battery management analog/mixed-signal ICs. Collaborate with analog, digital, layout, and verification teams to ensure systems meet technical and business requirements.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role responsible for ownership of analog blocks and coordinating top-level integration.
Experience Level
Senior — 10+ years of relevant experience in precision analog/mixed-signal IC design.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical leadership across blocks, ownership of analog design, and participation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate top-level and block-level development across disciplines.
- Translate system-level requirements into detailed block specifications.
- Own and drive transistor-level circuit design.
- Drive top-level and DFT simulations.
- Ensure product development adheres to standards and schedules.
- Participate in product definition, bring-up, and qualification activities.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- Proven precision analog/mixed-signal circuit design experience.
- Experience owning and driving transistor-level design.
- Experience with top-level and DFT simulation methodologies.
- Familiarity with Cadence analog/mixed-signal tool suite, JAMA, and GIT.
- Track record of successfully bringing semiconductor products to market.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: prior experience with SystemVerilog or similar modeling languages.
Education Requirements
BSEE or MSEE (Electrical Engineering) specified in the posting. The role requests 10+ years of experience and targets electrical/electronics or related technical fields.
