Onsite role based in El Segundo or Fullerton, CA; position requires active security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typically requires 8+ years of relevant experience (or 5+ years with an advanced degree).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include testbench architecture, verification planning, and technical leadership.

  • Architect and design verification environments using SystemVerilog with OVM/UVM.
  • Create written test plans, develop testcases, and track code and functional coverage.
  • Develop testbenches for RTL blocks using VHDL or SystemVerilog.
  • Recommend tools and process improvements for ASIC/FPGA verification flow.

  • Active, transferable U.S. government security clearance (Secret) required prior to start; U.S. citizenship required.
  • 4+ years of chip-level verification experience applying constrained-random testing, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification (SystemVerilog).
  • 4+ years developing and simulating RTL using VHDL and/or Verilog in a professional ASIC/FPGA environment.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and execute verification testbenches for RTL blocks.
  • Experience with revision control systems such as Git or Subversion.
  • Ability to work independently and to lead or mentor engineering teams.
  • Nice-to-have: ASIC/FPGA lab validation and debug, DFT and production test concepts.
  • Nice-to-have: proficiency with Unix/Linux, scripting or software development (C, C++, Python, Perl, shell), and industry tools such as QuestaSim, Synplify, Quartus, or Vivado.

Education Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). An advanced degree in a related field is noted as an option that may reduce the experience requirement (the posting specifies 8 years typical, or 5 years with an advanced degree).
