Role Summary

Lead applications engineering for Analog & Mixed-Signal (AMS) products, providing technical leadership and customer-facing support across design‑in, system integration, debugging, and production ramp for interface connectivity and power-management solutions.

Work closely with customers, FAEs, and internal design, validation, and product teams to resolve system issues, enable product deployment, and inform product roadmap decisions.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, customer support, system integration, and driving issue resolution through product lifecycle.

• Act as primary technical interface for customers: support design‑in, system integration, debugging, and production ramp.
• Provide technical leadership and customer‑facing support for AMS semiconductor products across the full product lifecycle.
• Review and analyze schematics and PCB layouts; identify differences between evaluation boards, reference designs, and customer implementations.
• Collaborate with design, validation, and product engineering teams to ensure successful product development and deployment.
• Develop and deliver technical documentation: datasheets, application notes, reference designs, and evaluation guides.
• Debug complex system‑level issues; lead root‑cause analysis and validation of fixes.
• Track and manage customer‑reported issues to timely closure; validate fixes with customers and internal teams.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback and market requirements to influence product roadmap.
• Conduct product demonstrations, lab evaluations, and technical training for customers, FAEs, and internal teams.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience (degree requirements summarized under Education Requirements).

• System‑level experience with USB 2.0, PCIe, and serial interfaces (UART, I²C, SPI, GPIO, RS‑232, RS‑485).
• Experience with power solutions: point‑of‑load regulators, power modules, and PMICs.
• Hands‑on measurement, validation, and debugging of analog and mixed‑signal systems.
• Proficient with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol/traffic analyzers, and BER testers.
• Familiar with Windows and Linux environments; scripting/programming with Python (preferred), TCL, and C.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to drive technical issues to closure independently.
• Proven ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, cross‑disciplinary engineering teams and to engage with global customers; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self‑motivated with strong ownership, accountability, and customer focus.
