Role Summary

Join Intel's AI Group to lead pre- and post-silicon validation for advanced AI SoCs. The role focuses on validating accelerators, coherency, GPU, PCIe, MMU and platform-level interactions to achieve production-ready silicon.

Responsibilities

Accountable for end-to-end silicon validation, debug, and readiness across hardware, firmware, and platform layers.

  • Lead post-silicon validation for accelerators, coherency, GPU, PCIe, MMU, and related domains.
  • Define validation strategy, coverage, and debug methodology for high-speed interfaces.
  • Execute pre-silicon and post-silicon validation: first power-on, bring-up, characterization, and production readiness.
  • Debug system-level issues across protocol, firmware, electrical, and platform layers.
  • Develop and review validation tests, automation, and debug tools (primarily C/C++).
  • Collaborate with architecture, design, firmware, and platform teams to improve design robustness.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level validation engineers.
  • Represent validation in cross-functional reviews and silicon readiness milestones.

Requirements

Essential technical skills and practical validation experience required.

  • 7+ years working on pre- and post-silicon validation focused on MMU, coherency, GPU, PCIe, or memory subsystems.
  • Strong understanding of MMU, cache, CPU and PCIe architecture and specifications.
  • Proven ability to debug memory coherency, CPU/GPU, and memory-specific issues in Linux user/kernel environments.
  • Experience with emulation/validation platforms such as Zebu and Palladium and debug with Lauterbach.
  • Proficient in C, C++, Python, and Linux toolchains; experience developing validation tests and automation.
  • Familiarity with Intel/ARM AI platform architectures and associated debug tools/frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills; self-directed and able to mentor others.

Education Requirements

BTech or MTech in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field; 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
