PRD to PDK AI Solution Architect
Role Summary
The PRD to PDK AI Solution Architect will design and deliver end-to-end AI/GenAI solutions that enable semiconductor PRD-to-PDK workflows. The role sits at the intersection of semiconductor domain engineering and AI solution development and coordinates across PRD, TD, Device, PDK, labs, and tool teams.
Main responsibilities include gathering stakeholder requirements, defining solution pipelines and milestones, removing domain/data blockers, and driving adoption and measurable productivity improvements.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focused on architecting AI-enabled workflows and ensuring delivery and adoption.
- Act as domain expert and liaison between semiconductor engineers and AI/solution developers.
- Identify opportunities across PRD, TD, Device, Ground Rule, Testchip, Labs, PDK and Device Modelling; architect end-to-end AI/digitization pipelines.
- Identify and catalogue data sources, enable API access, and drive transition from unstructured formats (PPT, DOC, PDF, XLS) to AI-ready formats.
- Create or assemble test cases and datasets required for AI solution development and validation.
- Define UI requirements and mockups for solution implementations; collaborate with developers on execution.
- Ensure data collection/telemetry is in place to measure usage and enable continuous model improvement.
- Track solution development/deployment progress; remove domain knowledge and data roadblocks.
- Develop training materials and evangelize solutions to drive adoption; collect feedback for iteration.
- Define and track OKRs and delivery milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
Requirements

Must-have:
- Significant experience in semiconductor process integration and device engineering.
- Experience with PDK and design flow development.
- Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary semiconductor projects and digitization efforts.
- Ability to define and present large transformational ideas involving complex multi-modal data.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
Nice-to-have / Preferred:
- Experience with AI/ML solution design, GenAI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and related concepts.
- Certifications in AI/ML, reinforcement learning, transformer architectures, or database architecture.
- Experience with pipeline design, database usage/architecture, and integrating APIs for data access.
- Strong project prioritization, planning, organizational and communication skills; ability to navigate ambiguity and foster collaboration.
Education Requirements
Required: Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Engineering or a related field, with approximately 15 years of relevant experience.
