Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing validation plans for CPU/SOC functionality and power management.
- Designing, implementing, and debugging validation tests for post-silicon environments.
- Collaborating with design, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
- Analyzing and debugging CPU/SOC system-level issues.
- Leading debug task forces to address program milestone issues.
- Mentoring junior validation engineers.
- Driving validation automation and improving process efficiency.
- Ensuring smooth product integration with stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience or a Master's with 2+ years.
- Experience in post-silicon validation, pre-silicon verification, and relevant technologies.
- Proficiency with silicon validation tools and debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with scripting and programming (e.g., Python, C/C++, Perl).
Preferred qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with Graphics, Media, Display IPs.
- Advanced degrees with 5+ years of experience.
- Familiarity with power and performance testing methodologies.
- Experience with Intel architecture and validation flow.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
