Role Summary

This role is within Intel's Client Computing Group, focusing on the post-silicon validation of cutting-edge CPU products for various consumer devices. The engineer will contribute to validating complex CPU/SOC architectures to ensure the highest standards of reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing validation plans for CPU/SOC functionality and power management.
  • Designing, implementing, and debugging validation tests for post-silicon environments.
  • Collaborating with design, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
  • Analyzing and debugging CPU/SOC system-level issues.
  • Leading debug task forces to address program milestone issues.
  • Mentoring junior validation engineers.
  • Driving validation automation and improving process efficiency.
  • Ensuring smooth product integration with stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience or a Master's with 2+ years.
  • Experience in post-silicon validation, pre-silicon verification, and relevant technologies.
  • Proficiency with silicon validation tools and debugging techniques.
  • Familiarity with scripting and programming (e.g., Python, C/C++, Perl).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Graphics, Media, Display IPs.
  • Advanced degrees with 5+ years of experience.
  • Familiarity with power and performance testing methodologies.
  • Experience with Intel architecture and validation flow.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
