Role Summary

The Post Silicon FW and System Validation Engineer will enable, develop, and validate firmware and systems for Altera's high-end mixed signal IP. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of validation and debugging tools.

Mid-level; requires 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Learning and applying communication protocols.
• Utilizing hardware and software tools for functional coverage and debugging.
• Resolving silicon bring-up issues and documenting solutions.
• Developing system-level programming and firmware for FPGA silicon and IP.
• Contributing problem-solving skills to enhance validation processes.
• Collaborating with design, software, and tools teams.

Requirements

Essential qualifications are:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with hardware and software debugging.
• Strong understanding of design principles and data structures.
