Senior level β requires significant hands-on experience. The posting specifies 7+ years of relevant experience in SoC/ASIC design and architecture.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on technical customer engagement, solution enablement, troubleshooting, and collaboration with sales and engineering teams.
- Act as primary technical interface for customers during pre-sales and early development phases.
- Support customer teams evaluating and adopting MIPS processor IP, toolchains, and development environments.
- Provide hands-on guidance for processor IP integration, software toolchains, system architecture, and design trade-offs.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during evaluation and pre-production phases and coordinate fixes with internal teams.
- Support opportunity development: provide technical input for evaluations, RFIs, proposals, and presentations to secure design wins.
- Engage with ecosystem partners (software, EDA, design services) and participate in customer workshops, demos, and industry events.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience for immediate contribution.
- 7+ years relevant experience in SoC/ASIC design and architecture.
- Practical understanding of RISC and DSP processor architectures and system-level design trade-offs.
- Experience working with customers in a pre-sales or application engineering capacity; strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot across hardware and software domains and coordinate with internal engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% (region noted in source).
