Job Title

PMO/Project Controlling

Role Summary

Lead PMO activities supporting R&D, technology development and NPI projects within a semiconductor environment. Serve as the primary PMO interface between project teams, functional stakeholders, finance, and management to ensure cost, schedule, and milestone control.

Drive PMO governance, reporting cadence, stakeholder communication, and timely escalation to support decision making and project delivery.

Experience Level

Mid-level (Level - Mid-Career). Typical guidance: 5+ years in program or project management or related roles.

Responsibilities

Deliver PMO and project-controlling functions across projects and portfolio.

  • Act as primary PMO interface among project teams, functional stakeholders, finance, and management.
  • Control project cost, schedule, and milestones against approved plans; identify deviations early and coordinate mitigation actions.
  • Establish and enforce PMO standards, reporting cadence, and governance forums.
  • Prepare consistent project and portfolio reporting for management reviews and escalations.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, alignment on priorities, and clear communication with senior management.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience; concise list.

  • 5+ years of program management or related experience.
  • Experience in PMO/project controlling or project management supporting R&D, technology development, or NPI; experience in semiconductor R&D preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate clearly with senior and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and financial/cost-control acumen.
  • Experience establishing PMO standards, governance, and regular reporting processes.
  • Nice-to-have: PMP® or equivalent project/program management certification.
  • Nice-to-have: Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt or above).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials, Chemical), Engineering Management, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Certifications such as PMP and Lean/Six Sigma are listed as advantages. The posting also specifies 5+ years of relevant program or project management experience.
