PMIC Design Verification Senior Engineer
Role Summary
Senior digital verification engineer responsible for verification of PMIC and mixed-signal IPs, ASICs and chipsets used in Snapdragon power solutions. Works within the hardware engineering organization and partners with international design, firmware and analog teams from definition through high-volume production.

Responsibilities
Primary verification and ownership activities for digital and mixed-signal power-management IPs and related chipsets.
- Plan and execute verification tasks: test planning, UVM-compliant testbench architecture, constrained-random stimulus, scoreboarding, and coverage closure.
- Verify digital and mixed-signal IPs (telemetry ADCs, charging, mmWave/5G power features, DC-DC, charge pumps, bucks, LDOs) and interact with analog behavioral models.
- Debug complex embedded systems including SoCs, firmware, and embedded sequencers.
- Own IP or chip DV deliverables: task planning, scheduling, and project risk mitigation toward metrics-based quality targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams through development to high-volume OEM launches.
Requirements
Technical skills and experience required or strongly preferred for successful performance in this role.
- Must-have: Expert-level SystemVerilog and advanced UVM experience.
- Must-have: Several years of ASIC design/verification or equivalent hands-on DV experience; strong RTL debugging skills.
- Must-have: Proficiency with scripting for verification (Python or Perl).
- Must-have: Strong troubleshooting across embedded systems (digital RTL, firmware).
- Must-have: Strong communication, organizational skills, and a process-oriented mindset.
- Nice-to-have: Exposure to analog behavioral models and mixed-signal verification experience.
Education Requirements
Degrees: Bachelor's (Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, Science or related field), Master's, or PhD in technical fields are mentioned.
