Job Title

Platform Software Engineer – Factory

Role Summary

Lead integration and validation of firmware, software, and diagnostics for NVIDIA GPU and DPU datacenter products in factory environments. Coordinate cross-functional teams, ODM/OEM partners, and stakeholders to deliver and standardize systems across multiple factory locations.

Analyze factory processes, implement improvements, perform system testing and validation, and maintain documentation and SOPs to ensure reliable production deployment.

Experience Level

Mid-level — requires 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2–5 years in factory integration or integration engineering roles.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include project leadership, integration, testing, and process improvement in factory settings.

  • Lead factory validation projects for software, firmware, and diagnostics across multiple locations.
  • Manage integration and handover of software, firmware, and diagnostics for products.
  • Provide technical consulting and strategic direction to engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Engage with ODMs/OEMs to collect and analyze factory requirements and deliver operational solutions.
  • Analyze factory systems and workflows to identify and implement optimizations.
  • Develop and maintain system requirements, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform system testing, validation, debugging, and fixes to meet factory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze operational data to identify issues and propose reliability and efficiency improvements; evaluate vendor solutions and upgrades.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, experience, and professional attributes.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience; 2–5 years in factory integration or integration engineering roles.
  • Experience with server manageability, bring-up, deployment, and diagnostics for x86 and ARM servers.
  • Experience working with ODMs/OEMs to deliver production-quality servers.
  • Proficient in Python, C/C++, and shell scripting.
  • Programming and debugging experience on GPU platforms.
  • Strong written and oral communication, teamwork, and a self-starting mindset.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with factory integration or hardware bring-up projects.
  • Hands-on experience with x86 or ARM system architecture.

Education Requirements

BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
