Physical Layer Lab Practical Engineer
Role Summary
Join the End-to-End (E2E) physical-layer performance team within Post-silicon to perform lab validation, characterization and silicon bring-up for NVIDIA ASICs. The role focuses on establishing and operating electrical and optical test setups to verify link-level performance and drive products to production.

Responsibilities
Primary duties include:
- Establish and configure electrical and optical laboratory test setups to support engineering evaluation.
- Perform lab maintenance, equipment calibration, and sensitive measurements.
- Validate and verify physical-layer performance of new ASICs and associated subsystems.
- Characterize, verify, and debug link-level performance.
- Manage complex setups involving both optical and electrical components.
- Participate in silicon bring-up and end-to-end testing to move products toward mass production.
- Use lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers, and pattern generators for measurements and characterization.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications:

Must: Minimum 3+ years proven experience in a lab environment working with wireline, RF, or 4G/5G technologies.

Must: Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; ability to guide and influence cross-functional teams.

Preferred: Hands-on experience with high-speed electro-optical designs and measurements.

Education Requirements
