Role Summary
Pre-silicon validation / emulation engineer responsible for test-plan development, test scenario creation and validation of IPs and SoCs on emulation platforms (Palladium, Zebu).
The role focuses on enabling silicon readiness through emulation execution, debugging, and automation to validate functionality of SoC components and interfaces.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop test plans and create validation scenarios for IPs and SoCs.
- Execute, monitor, and analyze emulation runs on Palladium and/or Zebu platforms.
- Integrate and use VIPs/transactor models for protocol verification.
- Debug firmware and hardware issues using C, assembly, and debugger interfaces (Coresight/UltraSoC, Lauterbach, JTAG).
- Write and maintain scripts and automation (Perl, Python, TCL) for test execution and result analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reproduce, isolate, and resolve verification issues.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred skills:

Must-have: Experience in pre-silicon validation or emulation (Palladium preferred); strong C programming skills; scripting experience (Perl/Python/TCL); knowledge of SoC protocols such as PCIe, LPDDR, SPI, USB, AXI; familiarity with ARM SoC architecture; strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities; experience with debugger interfaces (Coresight/UltraSoC, Lauterbach, JTAG).

Nice-to-have: Experience with Zebu compilation/build flows; familiarity with Synopsys VIP/transactor models; assembly language experience; prior work on other emulation platforms.
