Performance Analysis Engineer

Investigate and evaluate Arm IP and tooling for edge AI compute, focusing on AI inference workloads such as large language models and agentic AI. Produce data-driven analysis of runtime and system behaviour across CPU, GPU, and NPU-class architectures to inform hardware and software improvements.

Responsibilities

Provide measurement-driven insight into AI inference performance and efficiency across heterogeneous compute platforms.

  • Investigate and characterise AI inference workloads on real-world use cases.
  • Develop evaluation and analysis workflows to capture system behaviour and performance metrics.
  • Identify and quantify opportunities to improve efficiency across hardware and software stacks.
  • Evaluate inference runtimes, toolchains, and deployment frameworks across CPU/GPU/NPU-class architectures.
  • Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
