Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Define architectures for PCIe subsystems and SoC integrations based on product requirements.
- Specify micro-architecture and enforce RTL coding standards and best practices.
- Lead design implementation for synthesis, constraints, timing closure, and equivalence checking.
- Perform and oversee Lint/CDC/RDC analyses and address tool findings.
- Support silicon bring-up, debug root-cause issues, and deliver timely fixes.
- Provide customer support for design issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor and guide engineers on architecture and implementation decisions.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Strong fundamentals in digital ASIC design, micro-architecture, and RTL coding methodologies.
- Domain expertise in PCIe Gen6/Gen7 and PIPE protocols.
- Experience with AMBA and other serial protocols, DMA, memory organization, and processor interfaces.
- Proven design and silicon debug skills, including silicon bring-up experience.
- Expertise in synthesis, design constraints, timing closure, and equivalence checking tools (e.g., Formality, Conformal).
