Nvlink QA Engineer
Role Summary
Firmware QA Engineer on the NVLink/NVL program responsible for test design, execution, and automation to ensure firmware quality and performance.
Work with firmware R&D, verification, and product teams to develop test coverage for GA and update releases and to integrate simulation-based testing for NVL7 generation.
Experience Level
Entry-level - 0–3 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include test design, execution, automation, and cross-team collaboration to validate NVLink firmware features.
- Review architecture and requirements documents for new NVLink firmware features.
- Contribute to shift-left testing efforts, including simulation-based validation for NVL7.
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests for firmware releases and updates.
- Integrate new tests and capabilities into the existing automation framework.
- Report issues, assist with reproduction and debugging, verify fixes, and escalate unresolved defects.
- Collaborate with R&D, verification, and product teams to ensure adequate product coverage.
- Define and build test setups and topologies to achieve required coverage.

Must-have:
- 0–3 years of proven hands-on experience in testing or QA roles.
- Experience with manual and automated testing practices.
- Clear verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to plan and carry out assigned tasks independently; good interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, proactive and committed to delivering quality work.
Nice-to-have:
- Scripting skills (Python or similar) and experience developing automation.
- Familiarity with QA methodologies and test design.
- Knowledge of networking protocols.
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows environments.
- Experience working in fast-paced, multi-parallel activity environments.
Education Requirements
BSc or practical experience in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering ("Practical / BSc in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering"), or equivalent practical experience.
