Job Title

NFC/UWB System Validation Engineer

Role Summary

Verify products and features from a customer system perspective, focusing on NFC and UWB system-level validation. Work with cross-disciplinary teams to define and execute system test plans, run automated and manual system tests, debug issues, and maintain the system test environment.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” at least 3 years of system validation experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

Accountabilities include defining and executing system tests, maintaining test infrastructure, and coordinating debugging across teams.

  • Contribute to definition of system-level test plans based on product requirements.
  • Create, verify and maintain system test cases according to the test plan.
  • Run system tests manually and via automation; analyze and optimize test coverage.
  • Document test cases, results, and problem reports.
  • Drive debugging and issue resolution within international, cross-discipline project teams.
  • Maintain and extend NFC/UWB system test environment and lab setups.
  • Improve daily engineering and testing processes through incremental innovation.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, tools, and working style.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in system validation; semiconductor experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Python and/or other scripting languages for test automation.
  • Working knowledge of C programming and microcontroller concepts.
  • Experience with test automation and test management tools.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.).
  • Experience with standard hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART.
  • Familiarity with version control systems.
  • Strong analytical skills; accurate, well-structured, reliable and autonomous work style.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English; able to work effectively in a diverse international team.
  • Willingness to perform security-related tasks and follow processes for security certifications.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, or equivalent practical experience.
