New College Grad - HBM Digital Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Verification Engineering team to verify pre-silicon designs for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) and emerging memory technologies. Work with experienced engineers to develop verification environments, create test benches, and debug full-chip simulations.
The role focuses on increasing verification coverage, executing test plans, and collaborating across design teams to find and resolve issues in advanced memory products.
Experience Level
Entry-level / New college graduate. Candidate should have graduated within the last two years from a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include verification of pre-silicon designs, test development, and cross-team collaboration.
- Simulate, analyze, and debug pre-silicon full-chip and circuit designs.
- Develop and maintain test benches and test cases to improve verification coverage for HBM and related memory architectures.
- Contribute to verification methodologies and write test plans for advanced memory products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve design and verification issues.
- Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives, including appropriate application of AI-based solutions.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and professional abilities, followed by preferred additions.
- Must-have: Strong knowledge of electronic circuit concepts and fundamentals.
- Experience using electronic circuit simulation and design tools.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; conversational-level English proficiency.
- Problem-solving and debugging skills applicable to pre-silicon verification.
- Nice-to-have: Internship or academic project experience in pre-silicon circuit design.
- Knowledge of logic circuit design, computer architecture, and pre-silicon development methodologies.
- Familiarity with RTL design, verification concepts, and logic simulation fundamentals.
- Experience with programming/scripting and hardware description languages such as C++, Python, and Verilog.
- Experience applying AI-based solutions to technical or process automation problems.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, Nanotechnology, or a related technical field. Candidate must have graduated within the last two years from the listed degree programs.
