Role Summary

The Computer Engineer (CAD/EDA – Physical Verification) role focuses on developing, supporting, and improving EDA tools and flows for design, physical layout, and verification. The CAD/EDA Engineering team works collaboratively to ensure high-performance silicon development.

Experience Level

Entry-level, suitable for recent graduates.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

• Developing physical verification tools, flows, and methodologies for next-generation DRAM and emerging memory designs.
• Building, maintaining, and validating DRC/LVS rule decks while guiding design teams on physical verification procedures.
• Collaborating across teams to define and implement product development and verification strategies.
• Evaluating and integrating EDA industry offerings to improve quality and efficiency.
• Debugging and enhancing in-house and commercial EDA tools for workflows.
• Documenting standards and developing automation scripts to improve CAD/EDA processes.

Requirements

The following qualifications are required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills for EDA automation.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux with shell scripting experience.
• Good communication skills and problem-solving ability.
• A growth mindset with an eagerness to learn and develop skills.
