Associate Hardware Engineer
Role Summary
Renesas is looking for an Associate Hardware Engineer to join the team in Swindon, UK. This role involves collaboration with global design and verification teams to ensure successful integration and verification processes, ultimately supporting first-pass silicon success.
Experience Level
Entry-level, with 0–1 years of experience in AMS (Analog Mixed-Signal) verification or related fields.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
- Verification planning and maintenance
- Feature extraction, verification test case, and checker development
- Collaboration with design and verification teams in the US, India, and UK
- Integration of design verification processes to meet performance goals and schedule compliance
- Additional tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- Proficient in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or Verilog-AMS
- Fundamental understanding of analog circuits and digital design flows
- Basic knowledge of PMICs, DC-DC converters, and power management concepts is a plus
- Familiarity with simulation debugging and Unix/Linux environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
