Role Summary

The Simulation Automation Apprenticeship at Synopsys offers fresh graduates a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of verification and automation, working closely with a passionate team on real-world projects.

Experience Level

Internship; open to recent graduates from the class of 2024 or 2025.

Responsibilities

The apprentice will:

• Develop and implement productivity enhancement utilities to support the Mixed-Signal Verification team.
• Automate simulation-related project support activities to streamline verification flows.
• Address bottlenecks in simulation techniques by creating and optimizing scripts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify areas for process improvement and apply innovative solutions.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields (only for recent graduates from 2024 or 2025).
• Not currently enrolled in or have completed any M.Tech program or postgraduate diploma.
• Not employed in any full-time role; limited internship experience is acceptable.
• Strong programming skills in at least Python or C/C++, with the ability to create and understand scripts.
• Graduate-level understanding of basic circuits and transistor operation.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements

B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields.
