NBU Manufacturing Test Engineer
Role Summary
As a Manufacturing Test Engineer on the NBU TSG team you will develop and deploy board- and system-level test and diagnostic solutions for NVIDIA networking products. You will collaborate with hardware, software, operations, and contract manufacturers to automate test execution, collect and analyze data, and qualify equipment and fixtures for production.

Mid-level β 5+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include designing test automation, diagnosing failures, and working with contract manufacturers to deploy production-ready test solutions.
- Design and implement tools to automate product definitions, data collection, test execution, and results analysis.
- Diagnose and analyze test issues at board and system level with hardware, software, and operations teams.
- Qualify test equipment, fixtures, and tooling for manufacturing use.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to realize product test automation and deploy diagnostic packages.
- Develop and provide feedback on manufacturing debug tools and documentation.
- Follow up on ICT/FCT test setups, diagnostics packages, and failure processing.
- Investigate and apply AI/ML and data analytics techniques to improve production automation where applicable.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and preferred competencies that strengthen candidacy.
- Deep knowledge of low-level software drivers and kernel-level software.
- Ability to debug at the board level and use probing hardware.
- Hands-on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter).
- Strong written and oral English communication skills; able to work across functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to operate independently and collaboratively.
- Nice to have: MCU/FPGA programming and debug experience.
- Nice to have: scripting/programming experience (Python, Shell, VB, Java, Perl) and experience developing test plans and system-level diagnostics.
- Nice to have: x86 assembly knowledge and familiarity with PC architecture and power management.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automatic Control, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field; the posting specifies 5+ years of related experience.
