Role Summary

Design and optimize circuit blocks for next-generation NAND flash memory (base die) as part of Micron Memory Japan's non-volatile memory design team. Deliver high-performance NAND products by collaborating with layout, build, and verification teams.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include circuit design, simulation, optimization, and cross-team collaboration for NAND flash products.

• Design base die circuits for NAND flash: memory arrays, page buffers, string drivers, interface/data-transfer circuits, analog blocks, and logic controllers.
• Perform circuit simulations using industry-standard tools such as FINESIM, HSPICE, and Verilog.
• Analyze and optimize timing, area, and power for NAND builds.
• Support design, implementation, and optimization work across memory, logic, and analog domains for new NAND products.
• Collaborate closely with layout, build, and verification teams to ensure design integrity and execution.
