Role Summary
The MTS Verification Engineer will join the PHY integration team at Rambus. The role involves participation in pre-silicon RTL Design and Verification activities specifically related to PCIe Controller Soft IP development and integrations. This is a mid-level position aimed at enhancing PCI-Express and CXL controller technologies.
Experience Level
Mid-Career (6+ years of experience required).
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Verilog RTL design for integrating different IPs like PCIe with vendor PHY modules.
- Verifying IP integration using dedicated simulation environments.
- Developing and supporting test cases for various verification environments.
- Providing support to global customers on IP integration.
- Familiarizing with existing verification processes and proposing improvements.
- Maintaining traceability from customer specifications to verification results.
- Tracking and reporting on verification productivity metrics.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 6+ years of experience in verification using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and FPGA prototyping.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in multinational environments and very good command of English.
- Open to travel internationally.
- Experience with complex ASIC/VLSI verification and creating documentation, knowledge in Python and shell scripting is a plus.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
