MTS Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join the PCIe Express IP Products verification team in Bangalore to perform pre-silicon RTL verification for PCI-Express and CXL controller technologies. The role focuses on developing and maintaining verification infrastructure, test suites, and coverage to validate controller RTL before silicon.
Experience Level
Mid-level - typically requires around 5+ years of relevant design verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary verification duties include:
- Develop testbenches and test sequences for new controller features and technologies.
- Plan functional coverage, implement coverage items, and augment test suites to meet coverage goals.
- Create and run regression tests; monitor results; debug, triage, and correct failures in the test environment and RTL.
- Implement and maintain verification environment scripting and automation capabilities.
- Collaborate with design and verification teams to isolate RTL issues and verify fixes.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; nice-to-have items listed separately.
- Must-have: Hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM testbench methodologies.
- Must-have: Fluency in Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL design and debugging.
- Must-have: Prior experience or familiarity with PCI-Express controller design and protocol.
- Must-have: Experience developing functional coverage and regression frameworks.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with Python and TCL scripting for verification automation.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Bachelors or higher specified).
