Implement and deliver SoC-level silicon design and implementation tasks within a product team. The role drives technical decisions in SoC implementation, leads development of processes or methods, and mentors junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include driving implementation-quality results for complex SoC designs and influencing technical direction.

• Lead SoC implementation tasks and own deliverables for high-complexity blocks.
• Develop and improve implementation processes and methods.
• Solve complex, novel, non-recurring problems and initiate changes to existing flows.
• Make and influence technical decisions affecting final silicon.
• Coach and mentor less-experienced engineers; act as a technical leader.
• Prepare and present technical results; communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Use scripting to automate tasks and validate implementation flows.

Requirements

Key technical skills and domain expertise required for successful performance.

• SoC implementation experience, including multi-million-gate integrations.
• Low-power implementation and constraints validation.
• Familiarity with formal verification techniques and related flows.
• Floorplanning and power planning expertise.
• Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS) experience.
• Awareness of synthesis, SCAN, and DFT implementation practices.
• Static Timing Analysis (STA) proficiency.
• Power integrity and signal integrity analysis (IR, EM, noise).
• Physical verification experience.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation and validation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
