Mixed Signal Verification Lead Engineer
Role Summary
Lead verification for mixed-signal designs and SoC mixed-signal subsystems. Define verification strategy, create functional and AMS models, execute simulations, and coordinate with design and silicon teams to achieve production-quality silicon.
Experience Level
Senior - requires 10+ years of production mixed-signal verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities for this role include:
- Define verification strategy for mixed-signal designs and systems.
- Create verification plans and maintain traceability of requirements to verification activities.
- Develop functional models of analog blocks using SystemVerilog for SoC-level verification.
- Develop analog-mixed-signal (AMS) models of blocks and sub-systems to validate electrical behavior.
- Run simulations, collect results, and track coverage against verification plans.
- Drive issues to resolution to ensure high-quality tape-outs and A0 silicon to production.
Requirements
Core technical and interpersonal requirements.
- Must-have: 10+ years of production mixed-signal verification experience.
- Must-have: SystemVerilog modeling experience.
- Must-have: Experience running simulations and tracking verification coverage.
- Nice-to-have: Experience developing assertions, checkers, and other digital verification components.
- Must-have: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
