Mixed Signal Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Work in Qorvo's Power Management division to verify power-management integrated circuits (motor drivers, power-loss protection, point-of-load, and battery management ICs). The role focuses on developing metric-driven verification plans, implementing tests and models, and ensuring first-pass silicon testability.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Early career — 0–2 years of relevant AMS design or verification experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Act as customer-facing verification engineer for catalog and custom power-management ICs.
• Develop and execute metric-driven verification plans based on functional, performance, and test specifications.
• Create constrained-random tests and automated checkers within a UVM environment.
• Build high-performance RNM or Verilog-AMS models to support transistor-level simulation.
• Collaborate with design and test teams to identify and resolve issues during verification.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure device first-pass testability and align verification methods with industry best practices.
• Automate verification tasks where applicable.
• Support up to 10% domestic or international travel as required.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications:

• Must-have: 0–2 years of experience in AMS design or verification of analog and power-management ICs; strong mixed-signal verification skills; effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Preferred: Proficiency in SystemVerilog (tests, coverage models, global checkers) and UVM; experience with constrained-random verification and automated checkers; experience building RNM or Verilog-AMS models; familiarity with power-management building blocks (LDOs, amplifiers, bandgaps, DC-DC regulators, oscillators, asynchronous state machines).

Education Requirements
