Mid-level. Typical background: Bachelor's + ~3+ years relevant experience or Master's + ~6 months relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include designing and executing validation activities and improving validation infrastructure and processes.

  • Define, develop, and execute pre-silicon functional validation plans for mixed-signal designs and integrated circuitry.
  • Develop validation methodologies and test environments (monitors, behavioral checkers, coverage) and maintain validation infrastructure.
  • Apply hardware and software tools to achieve validation coverage and meet performance, power, and area goals.
  • Debug functional and triage failures; identify root causes and drive fixes.
  • Test interactions among mixed-signal features and interfaces using validation infrastructure.
  • Review design changes to assess impacts on validation scope, tasks, and timelines.
  • Publish validation reports and communicate results to relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve test strategy, methodologies, and processes.
