Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and development of embedded SRAM/ROM memory systems.
- Modeling critical paths and understanding various modeling types (RC, C, Pai, ladder, distributive, etc).
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams on hardware solutions.
- Optimization and verification of electronic systems.
- Knowledge application of semiconductor physics and IC technology.
Requirements
The following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of experience, OR a Master's degree and 5+ years, OR a PhD and 4+ years of experience in Hardware Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience specifically in memory design is preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital/memory circuit design/layouts and semiconductor physics.
- Fundamentals of process variability and its impact on memory design.
- Critical path modeling knowledge.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field is required.
