Job Title

Memory Circuit Design Engineer

Role Summary

Design, layout, verification, and optimization of memory, logic, and analog circuits for advanced memory products. The role spans parasitic modeling, design validation, reticle experiments, tape-out revisions, and oversight of layout (floor‑planning, placement, routing).

Experience Level

Entry-level — 1–2 years of relevant experience (posting specifies 1–2 years with memory technologies).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Contribute to design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits.
• Perform parasitic modeling and support design validation, reticle experiments, and tape-out revisions.
• Oversee layout activities: floor‑planning, placement, and routing.
• Execute verification using modeling and industry-standard simulators.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (probe, test, process integration, product engineering) to ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to improve design quality.
• Promote innovation for future memory generations and leverage AI-based tools and automation to improve design efficiency.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience; preferred items noted separately.

• 1–2 years experience with DDR5, LPDDR5, LPDDR6, HBM3 or other memory-related technologies.
• Hands-on experience in circuit design, layout, and parasitic modeling.
• Experience with verification and simulation using industry-standard tools.
• Experience overseeing floor‑planning, placement, and routing.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams and communicate effectively.
• Openness to using AI-based tools and automation to accelerate design and analysis.
• Preferred: strong communication and teamwork skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is required (posting also specifies 1–2 years experience). A Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred.
