Member of the Technical Staff, IP Engineering
Role Summary
Individual contributor on the IP Engineering team in Hsinchu responsible for developing high-performance computing processor IP products. Collaborate with global architecture, design, verification, and implementation teams to deliver product-quality IP and support customer engagements.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Deliver technical contributions across IP product development, drive execution, and support cross-site collaboration and customer interactions.
- Design and deliver processor IP components and subsystems.
- Plan and execute technical tasks, schedules, and product deliverables.
- Create and review technical specifications, design documentation, and work plans.
- Implement RTL and perform microarchitecture analysis and optimization.
- Develop and execute verification plans using industry methodologies.
- Participate in product signoff activities, silicon bring-up support, and delivery tasks.
- Enhance engineering methodologies, design flows, and automation to improve quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate across global teams to resolve technical issues and support customer engagements.
- Mentor early-career engineers and contribute to team capability development.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.
- 5+ years of experience in digital design, implementation, verification, or validation of processor/IP products.
- Strong understanding of microprocessor, memory, and system architectures.
- Hands-on RTL design and microarchitecture experience.
- Proven experience with verification methodologies (UVM/OVM), formal verification, and functional coverage.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and Verilog; experience with C/C++, Python, Perl, and scripting for automation.
- Experience with EDA tools for simulation, synthesis, linting, formal verification, and flow automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills; ability to drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience leading projects or mentoring engineers.
- Experience with geographically distributed teams and cross-site programs.
- Familiarity with product signoff, silicon bring-up, and product delivery processes.
- Background in methodology development, process improvement, or engineering excellence initiatives.
Education Requirements
