Mid-level; years of experience not specified.
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain RTL (SystemVerilog/Verilog) for complex digital blocks.
- Create and execute verification plans; implement testbenches and directed tests.
- Perform synthesis, static timing analysis, and timing closure activities.
- Collaborate with physical design, verification, firmware, and test engineering teams.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and debug failing simulations or silicon issues.
- Write scripts and automation to support design and verification flows.
Requirements
Key qualifications and skills:
- Proficiency in RTL coding with Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Experience with logic synthesis tools and timing analysis.
- Familiarity with digital verification methodologies and simulation tools.
- Scripting experience (Python, Perl, or TCL) for automation.
- Practical experience with ASIC/SoC design flows and EDA tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with UVM/advanced verification methodologies.
