Market Development Engineer FPGA

Role Summary

The Market Development Engineer FPGA will grow FPGA market share across EMEA by supporting customers' R&D and guiding technology selection. The role partners with Field Application Engineers (FAE), sales, and suppliers to execute regional supplier strategy, run technical engagements, and support customer development projects.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive FPGA market growth in cooperation with FAE and sales teams.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to inform supplier portfolio decisions.
  • Implement and execute EMEA supplier strategy and regional programs.
  • Prepare and present regular business updates with suppliers.
  • Advise development engineers on selecting FPGA technologies and components for designs.
  • Participate in customer development projects and technical meetings.
  • Prepare and conduct trainings, events, and technical sessions for customers and suppliers.
  • Recommend technical direction and priorities based on supplier strategy and market conditions.

Requirements

Required and preferred qualifications for successful candidates.

Must-have:

  • Proven experience in electronics and business development with measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of FPGA technology and architectures (tool proficiency not required).
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel for customer and supplier engagements.
  • Located in one of: Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia.

Nice-to-have:

  • Practical experience with FPGA electronic design.
  • Outgoing personality and strong presentation/training skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field (B.Sc./M.Sc.), or equivalent practical experience.
